Sungjun Yu is an innovation designer with a passion for balancing human development and technology.

 

He is based in London and originally hails from Seoul. He recently completed his Master's degree in Design Products (MA) at the Royal College of Art. Previously, he earned a bachelor's degree in Applied Art Education from Hanyang University and also holds a teacher's certificate.

With a background as an art and design teacher and musician, Sungjun's diverse experiences have fueled his interest in various areas. These include human senses and perception, human development, how individuals perceive the world (both in physical and digital spaces through interfaces), interaction through human senses (particularly in sound and haptic experiences), education, psychophysics, and neuroplasticity. His current objective is to design an interactive system that enhances human senses and perceptions, facilitating the simultaneous advancement of both human development and technology.
